The purpose of this study is to examine administrative changes and problem of in-home care support center through a comparison with before and after the implementation of the long-term care insurance at C in-home care support center in the city of A. The study has found four problems as follows; 1) decrease in amount of financial support; 2) delay of qualitative service delivery for the elderly; 3) rapid increase in the number of counseling; and 4) reaching upper limit of the capacity in service. It may be true that the implementation of the long-term care insurance has might affect in-home care support center on finance and personnel. There are solutions for in-home care support center to maintain the quality of service. It is necessary to entrusted as a community comprehensive support center under a new long-term care insurance system or cooperate with such a center |
