| 内容記述 | How can one describe the cohesion among special features in letters to the editor in newspapers for children? Those texts are from different authors and therefore cannot provide consistent themes. Hence, these were verified by systemic functional linguistics. The analysis from the viewpoint of cohesion, even from both sides of fictitious textuality and cohesive elements, revealed that each is fragmented and is a “Yudai-kun?s letter,” which is the point at which the special features start. Instead, of speaking “together,” everyone simply spoke about their own subject matter. However, the suggestion feature showed a repetition of subject matter and stylization of structure. This structure foreshadowed a cohesiveness of writing that converged on the reader. The editorial team made disparate sentences appear as if they were one coherent sentence. Furthermore, as the days went by, opinions deepened. Consequently, readers ended up “discussing” them all together throughout the paper. | |||||
