Students learn about the digestive function through the experiment of starch resolution by saliva. However, this method of experiment has several problems such as student’s resistance toward the experiment, instability of the results, and with low repeatability. Therefore, a better way conduct the experiment was. First, the problems of the original experiment were extracted by following the procedurs written in the science textbook. Then, an improved method was established in order to overcome those problems with the experiment. Finally the experiment was conducted by the improved method.
