We also analyzed what roles and skills they expected of registered dietitians，and further examined relevant factors in implementing home nutrition support. In this study，we conducted a self-administered questionnaire survey among home-care service staff，and obtained the following results: 1）among the respondents，62% recognized home nutrition support and 11% had provided it to their care recipients; 2）compared with home nutrition support，information on nutritional care management，another national public health service to improve the nutritional status of these care recipients，and its financial basis was 　significantly（P＜0.001）less well-known among the respondents，with 38% thoroughly understanding that the care service was covered by the national nursing-care insurance and only 6% had utilized it for their clients; and 3）a higher percentage（71%）of the respondents were satisfied with home nutrition support，and 82% noted that their 　care recipients had dietary and nutritional problems.
