Amagasaki city sports promotion business group holds a tennis school in a gymnasium of city at six places. This tennis school holds three period (12 times in 1 period) in one year. 256 participants in tennis school answered to our questions. (male71, female185) The contents of questions have a level of a tennis skill, to expect of instruction contents, the intention to continue a tennis, and the problem of executing a tennis. The purpose of this research is that the organizer is going to offer better instruction to the participants in the future programs and to contribute to the further development of the tennis practice for tennis lovers. The results were as follows; 1) Male players remained more than female over one year practice. 2) The improvement of their skill was very higher after over half year continuous practice. 3) The participants who had a little experience before wanted to improve forehand ground-stroke at first. 4) Those who had experience over half a year wanted to play game practice. 5) Most of the attendants wanted to continue tennis after this program. 6) Many of them have difficulty in finding tennis court when they want to play tennis. |
