| 内容記述 | Plants and animals designated as invasive alien species are proliferating all over Japan, affecting the environment as well as the agriculture and fishery industries. This study focused on Alternanthera philoxeroides, which severely impacts agriculture and is confirmed to breed in Hyogo Prefecture. As Alternanthera philoxeroides is a species of perennial aquatic plant, it can be challenging for ordinary people to distinguish it from other plants and eradicate it. Therefore, it is currently being identified and exterminated by experts. However, the number of experts is limited, and although early detection is imperative for complete extermination, it is difficult at present. In this study, we developed an application that automatically identifies Alternanthera philoxeroides and supports reporting to experts by building an artificial intelligence(AI) application programming interface (API). WebAPI is a mechanism for using web-based applications, and services such as advanced AI can be used even on smartphones as calculations are not performed at the user side. Using the AI API, we aim to raise awareness about familiar alien species and aid the extermination of Alternanthera philoxeroides. | |||||||||||||||||
