| 内容記述 | In this paper, I examine the three-layer structure of Shin Kashoki volumes 3-4. I explain the impact of the Noh song “Takasago,” the ancient Chinese story of W?i D?n, and the major renovation of the Himeji Castle, which are the contents of this chapter, on the main story of the second layer based on Article 34 of the “Goseibai Shikimoku.” Regarding the third layer, I argue that the eighth regent of the bakufu, Tokimune Hojo, subdued the February Disturbances and built Genko Borui to prepare for the Mongolian invasion. Like the previous chapters, this chapter focuses on the wisdom of the samurai and of pursuing the ideal form of the Kamakura shogunate. The author, Ihara Saikaku, through this work, depicted Tokimune?s wise administration and clever strategy. By exploring such topics, I recognize the author?s attitude in praising the Kamakura shogunate. |
