| 内容記述 | This study analyzes the economic thinking and economic-historical perspectives of Argentinaʼs president Milei, focusing on his discourses on inflation. High inflation has been the focus of economic debates in Argentina over the past few years, particularly during the 2023 presidential election process. Milei ran and won the election, advocating his unique economic measures to contain inflation, namely dollarization and elimination of the central bank. He advocated these measures by frequently referencing economic principles as well as the economic history of inflation. In view of this, this study aims to elucidate the economic thinking and economic-historical perspectives of Milei, drawing insights from his discourses. In particular, it analyzes how Milei views （i） heterodox and （ii） orthodox inflation-containing measures and how he explains （iii） his own alternative measures. This study also offers insights into the implications of Mileiʼs thinking on policies and policy studies. | |||||||||||||
