| 内容記述 | “The Visualization of Academic Learning Outcomes” has attracted considerable attention in recent Japanese higher education policy. In line with this trend, more and more universities are now developing assessment policies to provide a framework for evaluating student learning outcomes. This study centered on the evaluation and measurement metrics of assessment policies by each university. The evaluation and measurement indicators specified in the assessment policies of 183 surveyed universities were systematically organized into categories and their respective groups. The findings of this survey, pre-enrollment and enrollment assessments primarily relied on evaluation and measurement indicators associated with student recruitment and surveys. While student records, academic performance, and student surveys are standard measures during enrollment, post-graduation assessments often rely on student records and information about post-graduation pathways. The study demonstrated that a significant majority of universities employ student record data and survey responses for the evaluation and measurement of learning outcomes. The findings of this study underscore the necessity of developing evaluation and measurement frameworks that delineate between “outcomes” and “processes” to facilitate the assessment and visualization of student achievement. | |||||||||||||||||||||
